Guessing these are Chinese.  Nice photo showing the capture of what looks like a case of new SKS rifles.

Given the side swivel and the spike bayonet I’d imagine you are correct in that assumption

Thanks.  I wish I had more information to go with the photo such as unit and location but the photo is all I found.  No surprise that an AI history site had it captioned as WWII.
