1958 K series up for sale in Canada. Has this prefix been spotted Before?

Yes. This is a known cyrillic prefix on 1958 soviet guns.

I've got 3 nice examples (well 2 nice + 1 Westrifle example) in my files.

ВУ107_К, a decent Canadian example:









ВУ380_К, the Westrifle Canadian gun.  Not as humped as other's I've seen, but I still wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole at an as-issued price premium.






ВУ2197_К, likely an American import, my favorite of the 3 even with the stock chipping issues:
