Spike bayo, replacement laminate stock, Westrifle import, no rivet on the mag, I think it has the thicker sling loop but pictures aren’t great

Of course it's a WR import.

Not blatantly humped like some of their others, but I'd be really hard-pressed to tell you what's original vs. what's refurb vs. what's after import replacement on that carbine.

I wouldn't turn my nose up at it, but I wouldn't even come close to paying market price for it either.  Oh well, it is what it is.

Finding non WR 1949s is pretty hard. Dude got a pretty good deal on it though (better price than mine at least). It seems to me that WR only messed with the wood and didn’t alter metal stamps. I’d really like to see a compilation of WR imports to get more information on what they did/didn’t alter. Can’t remember where the guy I bought mine got it from but he had the receipt and it wasn’t a west rifle sale (although clearly the same modifications were made)
