Definitely nice.. thumb1 and an even lower number.. back in the day, this would have been an awesome piece in a certain discussion.   Like RM said, details...  These don't just pop up everyday...
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

  You need a crew

"A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined" (George Washington),
But they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of Independence from any who might attempt to abuse them. echo1

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.~John Adams 1798

Wow....  :o

I had to do a double take to recheck the number.  thumb1

Well, I have a Norinco 8 mill Paratrooper 16", a 10 mill Norinco 20", 50 Tula Russian and a 54 Tula thought I might add a Yugo to the collection but I wanted just the M59.....the first day I looked it came right up on it on a local gun selling site. I drove several hours to buy it from the gentleman and when I got home to investigate it.......I said "DAMN" what a find. Now the firing pin block is a C range 24727.....The rifle shoots very well in grouping ......I'm wondering if there might be a bid war on it if I posted on Gunbroker?....What do you guys think? i will post a target pic of the first 8 shots I ever fired out of it at a 75 yrd target.
First 8 shots....Red Army fmj

Very nice find!  They are nice shooters, check the gas tube, the one I found had corrosive ammo shot through it.

God created man; Sam Colt made them equal!

You'd get some kind of premium, that's for certain.  How much is anyone's guess though and the mismatch hardware is a definite ding on what it could potentially bring.

When you boil it all down, it's not really all that much different than B15312 (highest B series M59 that I've ever seen) though.

Sometimes a number is just a number, but cool numbers definitely demand a bit of a premium.  If you really want to find out, I'd suggest setting a $0.99 initial bid auction with a healthy & high reserve that you're comfortable with and then let her fly. You might be pleasantly surprised.  If it doesn't reach the reserve, you're likely out a few bucks for the non-refunded GB fees. thumb1

Haven't decided on if I would sell it or not....But a few have said it could fetch a bit? I'm going to completely clean and oil it up see how she shines. i might just set it on GB with a high reserve and start about 1800.00.....don't know??????

You never know until you try.  clap1

Some people are all about the numbers: I remember Long Barrel Yugo #007 went for a little bit more than LB #009 did when they were both being liquidated out of a newly revealed cache way back when.

There was also a very neat SinoBanian /26\ with S/N 300,000 that I thought was just a neat, clean, and unusual number.

Is it worth a few extra Andrew Jacksons?  Possibly.  A B series Yugo that could possibly be the *first* non-experimental production Yugo M59 off the line, that one may be worth several more Benjamin Franklins to the right collector who would appreciate the history...
