WTB... unmodified TAPCO bolt dust cover

As  the topic states,  I'm looking for a  unmodified TAPCO bolt dust cover. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

Not really sure what you mean. If by dust cover you mean the receiver cover, Tapco never made one. Only aftermarket covers are for scope mount setups consisting of NCStar, Red Star, AIM Sports, Leaper's, and a couple others I can't recall their names.

I was under the impression that TAPCO  made a receiver dust cover for a scope mount.  Perhaps I'm mistaken.

They made a scope shield that could be added to a scope mount cover, but I don't recall them ever making an actual cover.

What scope mount works with the tapco brass defleclor?

Any kind that has the detachable side mount scope ring setup. Similar to this;

Now there is this that Leaper's UTG makes; It is a receiver cover with combo picatinney rail and brass deflector.

The Leapers has been discontinued... I  like the Choate,  but don't want to modify the rifle irreversibly.

That's what I was looking for.  I  found a couple of them, but don't know what brand they are. No markings on the bolt cover at all.

At least I have a couple now so I can "Pimp My SKS ".
