You fellas have probably seen them but passing it on anyhow:

"Stamped receiver SKS, early 1970s experimental/trials SKS $1250
Chinese 1956 Ghost

First year production Chinese SKS, these are the ones with no Arsenal stamps etc.

This one is actually all matching even the stock which I thought was pretty cool.

$850"

First posted them in May and he still has them both.  A stamped gun with the mismatch magazine is a pretty tough sale.  Only reason to own a stamped SKS is the collectability and w/o that matching magazine it's a temporary hole-in-the-collection filler.  $1250 likely a pipe dream.

The all matching Ghost is probably closer to reality, but considering the condition it's still a couple to few hundred $ too rich for most people.

It's a tough climate to get premium prices for avg. collectables these days...

Nope, he sold the Ghost, just has the stamped receiver left.
My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

High Noon

There is a stamped receiver SKS locally for $700 - he cut the price from $800.
