Nice looking carbine you have there Kansas.  I agree with FC, that red really dresses up that carbine. 

Thank you. It's Varathane Barn Red. Then put about 6 coats of spray poly on it. Wish I had better wood to work with or I was a better wood worker.

Almost went with the amber shellac as those look great, too.
