Correct pronunciation of "Izhevsk"?

I've butchered the name of the Izhevsk arsenal long enough. Does anyone know the correct pronunciation of the word, "Izhevsk"?

And, what about "Izhmash"?  I've always pronounced that:  is-mash  Is that close?

I'm not going to lie, I was butchering the hell out of it until I met Svetlana.   
I use to put a separation between the 'Z' and 'H' sound, putting heavy emphasis on the 'H' sound. Made it sound like "Iz-Hevsk" 
Mostly I just say Izzy lol.

I always said "ice-ah-vic". Don't know why, other than that's what it looked like in my head.
