Another Bubba followed me home. This one has been on a local forum for a week or so. Guy was looking for trades only. Offered him some money and here we go again. It's missing the stock, bayonet, mag and cleaning rod and it has that aftermarket scope mount thing. At least the bayonet lug isn't cut off. I plan to go shoot both of these tomorrow. Thinking of bringing this one back as close to original as possible.

Now there's a factory stamp you don't see very often. How do you like the stock?

The stock really feels good but I wish it wasn't a folder.

From the little I have learned this rifle would have had a spiked bayonet, correct?

You can pull the barrel assembly without removing the trigger group which is handy for cleaning I guess.

Yes, if I have my info correct it would be a '77 build and have a spike bayonet. Based on the 22 in front of the SN and the /0223\ arsenal

Looks like a decent project gun.  Definitely a spiked bayo originally on this one.  Original wood stocks were bottom swivel too if you choose to go that route.

Coincidentally enough, this example is also an ACT III import.

Thanks guys. I have an unmarked 20 round star mag which would look ok and also buttstock hardware. So I need:

An unstamped stock with spike cutout
Bayonet
Cleaning rod
Bolt/dust cover
The stock ferrule is for a blade but my other Norinco has the notch so that will swap.

I will make a post later today in the WTB section and post some stuff I can trade too.

Lowell, is your action a pinned barrel or threaded barrel? I may have most, if not everything, you need. I also may be interested in the stock and scope(if you want to sell the scope) on a trade deal.

Pinned and the scope can be had. Thanks!

Thanks to Greatguns this one is close to being somewhat respectable again. Just waiting on a rivet to come in.
