Scored a Krag Bayonet

Had a deal working for my German stuff and the guy didn't want to lay out too much moolah, so we did a trade/cash deal.

It's not the best one I've ever seen, but it's complete and perfectly serviceable, and it has a pretty good (and complete) scabbard with hanger.

While we were talking, what appeared to be a squadron of biplanes flew over us. Two flights of 4 planes.
 
Must have been some kind of omen.

I was fortunate that my Krag came with the bayonet. They aren't exactly plentiful.

Phos - one of these days, I'll get the  picture thing down and spend a day dumping photos here.

But, you're right about the Krag bayo's. Now I need to find a rifle to stick it on......
