As I have mentioned in other posts, Rick O'Brien can make a beautiful stock for the SKS, pictured below is a Sporter I got that came with a plastic stock but it had the metal mag-well attached, so I purchased this "SKS m (paratrooper, sportster, or d) original design stock" from Rick's Etsy website and mailed the metal mag-well for him to install. Got the finished stock and handguard yesterday and installed today, this is great work from Rick, if you need a stock or custom job, please check Rick's Etsy website. I'm extremely happy with this!

What is the length of pull and is the stock inletted for the cleaning rod?

How does it pull up?Can you see the sights well without having to cant the rifle?
Sorry for so many Q's.I'm considering getting one of these for my Sporter as the thumbhole stock renders it literally unshootable.TIA

I found the rifle, looks like 13.5 inches from middle of butt-stock to trigger, plus there is a groove for cleaning rod:

After that Cherry ages, it’ll look like this.  Really like my Lucky Shot but, I did have to do a little profiling on the foregrip area to get it to blend better with the barrel plate.

Thanks for the tip.I'll look for that when it arrives.I don't mind doing the fitting. It's expected. He doesn't have the barreled action in front of him to aid in that. Not a biggie for me.I've never had aftermarket anything that didn't require some level of fitting to get it just right. But the factory stock was fitted by a blind man I swear.Anything is an improvement over it.
