Awesome!  Very desirable gun.
But please fix that bayonet.  It is on upside down, and it bothers me terribly.

It's the way I got it, It's also riveted in place.  I've never removed one with the rivet but  I'll research it.  Not to mention I didn't even realize it.

It's pretty easy. If it is flared, you'll have to taper the end slightly to reuse the rivet, or get one off eBay. PAX

WD, from what I can see in the pictures,  the river forest look too flared.  If you use a smaller diameter punch than the hole, it should compress the flare while you drive it out.  Cheers, Bruce.

I didn't get a pic, but Bayonet is "correct" now . The rivet was "slightly" mushroomed but came out easy with a small punch. I found a new one on eBay.  The old one was good for a back up spare.
