Larry, good words of caution. I’d checked, and the brake threads onto my WASR-10 correctly and the opening is definitely for 7.62, not 5.45, as the exit hole is a larger diameter than the neck of a 7.62x39 cartridge.

Outstanding.
I can see that being a real bad day if it was screwed onto the wrong barrel...... :o

Okay, you guys have me wondering now. Did someone actually manufacture a 14x1mm LH threaded 5.45 caliber muzzle brake? I can't say it didn't happen because of the world we live in, but, why? All my 5.45 stuff is 24mm thread. I have a few 14x1mm LH brakes in my box-o-stuff I gotta check now!

Thanks for the heads-up!

Might be a US made part.
That could come in handy.
