Hey, my Name is Javan, 38 from Canada, New to the SKS, and guns really.
After a lot of reading about various guns, I finally (after 3 years, lol) picked up a 1951 Tula, refurb.

Plan is to modify it, as it is a refurb, and find something rarer to keep as a collectible.

Also like the Mosins (and plan to pick one up), but the SKS is my only purchase so far.

Haven't shot it yet, cleaned all the cosmoline out, oiled where needed, then replaced the seer spring (2.5lb pull after replacement)
