Russian or Chinese? And, any determination whether or not Russian or Chinese FSAs are interchangeable? Would tolerances for FSA's also vary between military and commercial production Chinese; given abundance of factories? Same question for Yugos, Romys, Albys, DDRs, etc., etc.

Hard to say w/o measuring it. I can tell you it is not a late Chinese nor an early Russian. Could be darn near anything else though.

Different nationalities had different dimensions at the barrel tip. Some bayo handle loops don't fit on certain guns. I would not automatically assume they are universally swappable.

Use a BFH... a nice 5 pound mini sledge.. I bet it would fit. :)

The cleaning rod lock pins look a hair longer and more square than normal.. or maybe it's just the photo.
