Just got approved today.

Read one of your threads will searching for information on a potential Yugo M59 purchase...and the info helped me make the right decision.

I am Ed, from Maryland and now the proud owner of two SKS's....one early (1957) Chinese SKS and the now second addition my Yugo M59 C series SKS...

Very active shooter (both handgun and rifle competitive shooter) and active reloaded.

Looking forward to the info on here...

Glad to be here..

Hey Ed, welcome aboard!  Glad to have you.

Post up your new acquisition if you get a chance, M59's are definitely in the top three in my book.  I never get tire of seeing nice ones! thumb1

Sounds like you have a good start on a nice sks collection!

Welcome to the Files.   thumb1

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Welcome from the free state of Montana.  rofl2

The wife somehow just added a nice M59 to her (not) collection...also a C series...cleaned up enough to handle, but still with enough cosmoline to not be used since import. Sexy little thing was our dozenth SKS.  Watch out for your new addiction.  I still convince myself they are investments.

I look forward to pics of yours...I still need to do a spread for mine I mean hers. M59s are special lil beasts....congrats on getting one so early in your collection, they are a semi difficult niche to fill in the multitude of SKS brethren out there. I don't recall any SKS collector letting one go...I just appreciate the wingnut that sold me I mean her...ours.

Nice to have you here Ed. :)

That's a hell of a nice M59!  I like the tight grain on that stock.   thumb1

Welcome from WA Ed!

I lived in Abingdon for a year (1997). I loved the rolling hills, twisty roads, runs, kills,  creeks and rivers.
