So....I went to put the bayonet on this morning and the barrel nut (which I just pulled out of the package, unknown country to me) is apparently different than the one I had on originally. It is larger diameter than the hole in the handle of the bayo......so something else to fix. Anyhow.....with bayo attached as well.

If it will not work with the original barrel nut either, you may could try a slant muzzle break.

My salivary glands get a little tricklish when bayonets just happen to be a part of the package of awesome.....
