I got an email today (and one yesterday too) on these DCM rifles.  At first I file 13'd the email because well it's Classic and they have given me exactly *zero* reasons to respect them as of late (VZ52s *cough* *cough*).

These got me curious, so I clicked the link: https://www.classicfirearms.com/us-model-1903-rifle-5rd-bo-30-06

Starting at $1299.00 for standard grade from a private collector.  Wow....

My first C&R purchase was a P-64 from Classic. I opted for the hand select, too.

I received one that had never had a round in the chamber and aside from a small ding on the front sight which I fixed easily, the gun was like new.

I may have been lucky, but they did okay by me. Love my P-64!

I used to like Classic, but their recent charge 1.5-3x market price (depending on the offering) business model has lost me. At $1200-1400, I'd say these are in the 2x market value range for Greek return (electropenciled bolts) CMP/DCM rifles. Looks like all WWII vintage Remington M1903s in the offering for tomorrow.

Like their rumored.. humped K98s

If Classic offered cherry slurpies in hell, I still aint buying.  nea1
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.
