Hi All,
Anyone else see the SKS articles in the latest AR magazine?  Being new to things SKS here am I wrong is noting in their exploded view drawing that the recoil spring guides are backwards?  (the little one is to the rear of the larger one).  Small is end is forward yes, and goes into the bolt carrier.

That was really nice to see, two different articles about the SKS, and even an article on Chinese Tokarev pistols.

You are correct as well. The drawing is wrong. The smaller rod (with the squiggly part of the spring) goes forward, inside the bolt carrier.
