Hi Everybody From Yester Year,

Does anybody happen to know what became of BBWAG? I think he lasted until the great fallout then disappeared. I think of the fellas that just ghosted every now and again. I liked him and he was an inspiration to my SKS collecting. That dude had a stash! PAX

One day he just disappeared... everywhere. It was a bit before the great schism in 2014 when this board was birthed.

He was a really nice guy. I bought an M8 Clayco SKS new in the box on gunbroker back then. When I posted it at SKSBoards, BBWAG said he saw it, saw that I had bid for it, and "let me have it".  Now had I not known him, I would have thought "You know, that's a pretty ****ty and arrogant thing to say."  But because I knew he was such a decent guy, I understood it to mean "I wasn't going to get into a bidding war with you over this carbine.  I'll get the next one."

Anywhoo, The last thing I remember about him was he was in the process of installing a lethal nitrogen gas security system in his gun vault to prevent theft. Not sure if he was joking or serious, but based on what I remember of the size of his collection, he was probably serious.

Yeah I dug through my messages, it was some time in 2013 that we chatted last. I really didn't pay attention during the rift, but like you say he was just gone. He was a pretty cool cat, I think he has 2 or 3 cargo containers of weapons. Pretty sharp too. PAX
