But its a fat star... Not a tight sexy pointed tula star.  Its an exact match to the early NVA star.

Which means it had to have went to NV, then to China, then to Albanian, then here.    :)

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Dammit man, a noob is gonna take you seriously!  Then we'll hear it all over the 'net "Hey I have a fat Tula star on the side of my Russian SKS!  It went to Vietnam and then to China and then to Albania!" bat1

And it'll be posted on 50 different forums and then it'll be truth, because nothing posted over and over again could be wrong!   bat1

Here's another IO sneak.  Unfortunately, no receiver cover to help date it, though this one is certainly a '52 to '54 gun as well.  This one has both a RSL star and a receiver star in the right receiver keystock area:

I find it interesting that PS's gun is a PИ prefix, This one is a PП, and the other one I've seen was a OП.  Definitely seems to be some kind of a group there.  One other thing I just noticed is that these guns all have a prominent "C" stamp near the receiver keystock star stamp as well.

I'll have to look at my sneak when I get home in a week.
