Got to looking at this cast receivered rifle I got in today. I've had a few cast rifles before....but I have never seen one with an apparent cast trigger assembly??

Kill it!!!   Kill it now!!!!   :))

Certainly looks to be cast.  Whats the story on the rest of the carbine?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Pretty kool Pat!

Can you get a photo of the entire right and left sides?

Something like these:

How is the trigger?  Gritty as  it looks?  :)

That is a really neat find!

Very neat.  First one of these I've ever seen.   They must not have made too many of them.  thumb1

The more I look at it the more I realize that not only was the casting done poorly, the clean-up machining on it is pretty rough too!  It's interesting that they copied the reinforcement rib just below the hammer pin from the stamped version.

Please try to post up the whole gun at some point so we can get it into the Arsenal Component Configurations section Pat!  It sure seems like a unique one to me!
