True North Arms SKS Mag Conversion

Just watched a video on YouTube about the True North Arms (TNA) SKS Magazine Conversion Adapter.  Everything was going well and I was somewhat impressed UNTIL the presenter made the comment that that "pin" that use to go through the stock, you'd have to cover the holes since the adapter is taking up the real estate it occupied.  He was referring to the recoil lug, and I'm pretty sure its' lack would adversely affect functioning/functionality.  They also have a website with the video.  Oh, and it's $386.00 in Canada

Now that the Marcus magazine adapters are no longer on the market, something like this is perhaps the only way to 'kit' convert an SKS anymore. Removing the crossmember probably not good long term for stock integrity though.
