Only 4 Albys this month, $385.00 low, $863.00 high, $576.99 avg.

Please let me know any feedback (good or bad) to these.

If you have an objection or observation to add to anything I've listed, by all means call it out.  Let's look at it long and hard (I only look at each listing for a minute or two at most) and maybe everyone can learn a thing or two!  thumb1

Item Link   Description   # Bids   Final Price   Year   Arsenal Condtion   Current Condition   RM's Notes

510942962   1971 Albanian SKS   9   $460.00    Uncertain   Refurbished   Fair   HORSETRASH, HORSETRASH, HORSETRASH!!!!!!!!!

512061603   ALBANIAN SKS SUPER RARE 762x39 1978 MFG   1   $599.95    1978   Uncertain   Fair   This one's seen quite a bit of wear, and I suspect that the handguard and or gas tube *may* have been replaced at some time since it doesn't match at all.  Pretty tall price for a gun in this condition though.

514154961   Albanian Model 56 SKS Rifle Matching Unissued 1976 Rarest Albanian Production 160 Made 50 Surviving   14   $863.00    1976   Uncertain   Very Good   Nice condition, but that stock sure looks *very* off to me in the initial photos.  The latter photos look a bit more normal but it could easily be refinished with how dark the bottom of the stamped letters look.  Still it's a nice gun in great condition and an odd year to boot.  The $64000 question is: Is this gun in this iffy condition worth almost 9 Benjamins.  I think that's crazy talk.

514189676   Albanian SKS   1   $385.00    1968   Uncertain   Poor   It's like the bluing melted away from this one.  How bizzaro.  That stock is dickered too.  Sub $400 Alby is still an Alby.  Not great photos.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Laff, didn't even notice that it was his.  In that case, the stock is likely not dickered with.  It just seemed odd to me that a stock that nice would be on a gun that poor.  With one you usually get the other unless the stock is a replacement or it's been refinished...
