So....I've never been accused of doing things the easy way....or maybe quite thought out...but I purchased this Chinese AK type today sight unseen. It appears the bolt carrier is blued.....I'm thinking maybe an early Sile import? Pictures suck as usual from the sellers.....but I'll post more when it arrives.

Looks good in the photos. I agree that it's likely one of the early SILE imports. I have a 56S-1 like that.

I guess I'm like RM and Mosins when it comes to AKs (well, except that I actually want one, I just haven't gotten around to picking one up yet).

Make sure you install the cleaning rod properly before shooting...

Got er' outta jail today.....Definitely a SILE Import. MS prefix and in really good shape......something weird on the left hand side....had a previous stamp on it....need to do more homework......
