I've seen this paint a few times and am beginning to wonder. The /326\ with the D sight leaf I just got, Is a twin to this 1 except... The stock has been sanded within an inch of its life. This paint might explain that. Something to look for.

Goes to show how observant I am, I didn't even notice the misspelling. I don't think a misspelled sporter is in the same neighborhood as an upside down plane on a postage stamp, but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

I'm going to start a sticky thread in each category that will contain the year to date numbers of all the months combined.  With just three months of data, prices are tempering just a bit for good guns (esp Russians) while the mixmasters and bubbas are dropping like a rock.

Yup no idea how or why people list as they do. My search should encompass any rifle and weed out the magazine recoil buffers and whatnot. I may have to tweak the search criteria if You guys find that I'm missing any guns.

I bought the #482634281 Poly Tech SKS Hunter for $625. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I've wanted one ever since I first saw one. I bought the #482634281 Poly Tech SKS Hunter for $625. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I've wanted one ever since I first saw one. Nicely done! I know it was pricey, but the trend I'm seeing lately is the commercial guns are skyrocketing in price and people are paying it. What's nice about the poly hunter, is that it's one of the modified commercial sks's, and a low production numbered gun. Probably one the best collector commercial guns. I'm jealous

I think you did quite well.  The other PTH that sold wasn't in near as good of condition as this one was.  If you get a chance and feel like it, maybe post up some better (i.e. not so dark) photos of it & of the box too!  I'm sure many here would appreciate a closer look at what one of these looked like 'new' in the box. 

You know, up until now I had never really paid attention to the fact that the takedown lever on these is 'upside down' with a stock cut out much like the levers/stocks on the M21 0296 and 23/24 million /26\ guns are.  Neat!
