There is a guy local to me selling this Ruger LCP stating he has carried it for 8 years which would mean he bought it when they first came out in 2008. He does show the SN as 370-0080*. If it is one of the first 800 or so then it is possible. Anyway, vote in the poll and give your opinion as to how this thing ended up looking so ratty. Here are the pics.

The dude aint the orginal buyer, the orginial buyer is buried in the woods, 5 steps to the left of the old oak tree. The result of a lovers quarrel, the seller offed the guy some time back. The seller needed cash to buy the former guys widow, who doesn't know yet, a wedding ring. So he dug the guy up, got his sidearm from the holster and is now pawning it off.   All the blood etching, mud in the grips, and even the holster fabric imprint is on the slide...  Hey, it's the best I could do in 30 seconds of thinking.

Looks like a lost in the woods/mud gun or ....evidence 

A buddy of mine found a "ditch" gun ( .380 sat. night special of some type) in a 1/2 rotted backpack under a set of steps of a condemned house in a " not so nice neighborhood" and it was in similar shape to this.

Guy found it, cleaned it up and now is off loading it before its traced to something. Beware 


...OR he just needs to be smacked for letting a firearm get that bad to begin with.
