No clue what the one is, but its not a Mosin. Bolt handle it too far back.
Yeah, that thing has all kinds of wackyness going on, an ill fitting SKS spike...rather than the side folder, and why would a sniper need a bayo? That odd hand guard that wraps around the rear sight...I also don't see a mag release.
What is with them both being displayed with what looks like 3 round 54r strippers? I wonder if the SKS was chambered in that?
I find it odd that they would be considered sniper rifles, without scopes...other than the length....granted, we aren't seeing that side of them to see whether they are just missing.
Very very interesting!
A spindly looking bolt, very small receiver ring, truncated rear sight leaf. I'm going with .22 on the "Mosin".
Do you guys not read the plaques on the wall next to them? Lol
Its just showing bullets on a little shelf for display, and the top one clearly states 7.62mm... twice
Unless the top one is some other "type 53" they developed, or perhaps it says type "52" ?
That is a pretty massive mag if the 53 is a .22
I would be more inclined to think that it was a custom design, loosely based on the Mosin concept, utilizing a long barrel and perhaps a different caliber. 7.62x39 single stack maybe?? I dunno what they were thinking about that bayo though. ::)
Think about how bad ass it would be to have a detachable full length blade bayo for that SKS though? Put the cleaning kit in the handle and you use it as a machete, or a short sword. rofl

Well, uhhhhh 7.62mm, that really narrows it down don't it :o. I mean:
7.62×25mm
7.62×38mmR
7.62x33
7.62x39mm
7.62x45mm
7.62x51mm
7.62x51mmR
7.62x54mmR
7.62x63mm
7.62x67mm
7.62x70mm
Them Chinese fellars think of everything
New innovative 7.62mm sniper weapons, fits all those listed.
Pick a round based on usage, x25 for close up work, or x70 for the next jungle over chuckles1 rofl2
Laff... the bullets shown next to both rifles look like x39 to me. I believe this is an indigenous attemp at a bolt action sks type rifle in 1953. thumb1

Pretty bizarre, and a new one on me. Think I'll have to do more research on these.
