You may have noticed that the boards look vastly different than they did yesterday. We had major issues with the server and some corrupted/missing files. LC was up until 3 AM last night jury rigging the site back together so it would be at east somewhat useable. At some point, he realized we simply had to upgrade from our old SMF software to the latest version to get a stable board up again. Unfortunately, the custom theme that LC utilized and modified for use when the boards opened in 2014 is not compatible with this latest version of SMF. Many of the individual elements such as the custom smileys, avatars, logos, etc. are back up and running, but the style specific stuff like the SKSGuide banners, sponsor links, and Donate buttons are gone as are many custom icons/buttons, notification badges, and other familiar layout aspects from the old boards. Additionally, some of the under the hood 'mods' that run things like audio/video embedding, the trader feedback, and the imgbb image uploader are no longer working. We will see what makes sense to reintegrate, but some of those things may not come back.
If you are cruising around the boards and see something that is "broken", please post here or send a PM to the admin so we can at least be made aware of it. Still a few tweaks to be done and we are searching for a better theme (the default SMF theme is atrocious!) We thank you for your patience and understanding!

We have a database error come up when trying to edit some posts. Im working on a resolution.

Haven't even tried the shoutbox. Thing scares me. Also got muh crosshairs back and codded correctly with the help of a feller.
The OG sksfiles Them is being reworked to be 10% compatible with 2.1.6 and should be done within a week f all goes well.
I still have some minor images in trader to upload to server when I find them... may use better ones because the old ones looked like something off of P32s flip phone. If you see any missing images other then the traders..... I need to know about it.

That's really odd. I'm running an iphone 13 with iOS 18.5 using Safari to reply right now and I've never had an error like that. I wonder if it's your member group permissions on the SMF forums itself that is giving you issues? I'll look into it and see if I can figure out the underlying problem.
FYI, I noticed there isn't an option to change the text color anymore, is that coming back or what?
Colors are still there. They just have a button instead of a drop down box:

I've managed to recreate this error!! I was able to do it by inputting a double space after a period in between sentences. It appears we have a SQL database issue with the original SMF 2.0.18 UTF8 vs the new SMF 2.1 UTF8MB4 character set. I'll work it and hopefully get it fixed.
Problem is still occurring. If anyone gets a "Database Error: Incorrect string value: '\xC2 ...' please PM me here or (if that doesn't work...I'm getting errors on DM's now too ugg) you can email me at running-man @ sks-files.com
