Here is the Albanian I purchased along with the 1954 Russian. All these years collecting and this is the first Albanian SKS I've ever owned.

It's a nice one, very good looking, great condition thumb1.
I had a '68 and 2 '70s. I only have one '70 I've kept and it's been humped, wood redone, some metal case hardened, and the blue looks too deep to be original. It's beautiful. But from my perspective and experience, none of that should matter in the long run if I should decide to sell (which I hope never happens), it'll fetch whatever is asked. There are just too many folks with mad money and not many Albys around. PAX
There is a little pitting on the bayonet and some damage to the heel of the stock, but I'm happy to add it to the collection.
Congrats! The Albanians are very distinctive with their AK style charging handle, long stock and handguard, etc. It's cool to have one of the earliest made ones thumb1
Nice Alby.... I have yet to snag one of those.
