This is just a grins and giggles thread so...
If you could only keep one which would you keep? (think all around use;deer hunting, zombies, etc)
First we have a slightly bubba'd paratrooper w/neutered FSB, refinished no number stock, and non-matching OEM mag.
Second is an as imported SKS-M in the box (such as it is) w/all accessories, 2-5rnd flat back mags and 2-20rnd Hungarian tanker mags.
Each is probably equally as accurate as the other and have about the same configuration attributes with the only real differences being 1)the shorter gas system on the M and, 2) AK mags as opposed to stripper clips. Both are using iron sights and are equally adaptable to scope use so, hunting would be a draw probably. M is worth more, but a little heavier and packing mags would also be a little heavier than stripper clips. Other than those things, what do you all think? Which one? Here's some pics of each

Since I'm a Kali occupant Alan, I'd have to go with the black fixed 10 mag rifle but would prefer the M. Although, I like a Para with the cleanly neutered front site globe. I'd put a black sling on it to enhance its blackness. I built one with hunting in mind, I call it the "Canadian Deer Slayer", cut to 18.5" (can still use a neutered globe with stock muzzle undercut), Mojo rear, 5 round flush mag, Butler Creek furniture with no-vent Choate HG (pictured with ATI) and black naval sling. Handles really nice. PAX
