Hey everybody, I picked this up the other day at the local auction for $17 a box which I thought was a good deal and in all honesty I don’t come across very much military surplus ammo that is brass from Russia or any of those Eastern block countries it’s always steel cased. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you guys could help me identify this and tell me what it says. Thank you very much for your time.

Yugoslavian M67. Good ammo, but not Russian.
Also very possible it is corrosive.

What's life without some risks :) All the corrosive ammo I've shot over the years, none of my barrels ever rotted off, clean it correctly and your golden. In my experience, the Yugo is corrosive, but compared to others, it's the more mild of the corrosive ammos. thumb1
Decent price for good ammo, the stripper are a plus. PAX
42.5 cents per round is not bad at all for M67. It is fine surplus ammo that used to be much cheaper than it is now (like everything else)
SGAmmo still has cases of it, but they are running (https://www.sgammo.com/product/surplus-ammo-sale/1120-round-crate-762x39-m67-non-magnetic-copper-fmj-brass-case-corrosive-y) $588 per 1120 (52.5 cpr) with free shipping before taxes.
I agree with GM, the hype of corrosive Yugo M67 is a bit overdone (as are the windex myths and whatnot). Clean your bolt face, barrel, and gas system in a reasonable amount of time after you use it and you're golden.
