Hello, I've been getting into SKS collecting for the last few years, started with my Type 56 I bought back in 2020 and fell in love with the system. Later added onto it with a Yugo and Albanian, then Russian and Romanian. I've included adopted cousins into the collection like the Rasheed (I know it's not an SKS type, but I like how it tries to disguise as one), as well as non-military rifles, such as the SKS-D, M, and Type 84. I still have a good bit of collecting to do and an idea for an SKS modification build on a clapped out gunsmith special if I find a good one. As uncommon or rare as the other SKSs might be in the group, the Type 56 will still be my favorite, being my first one and the one I had to put the most work into to make it shootable with how caked in cosmoline is was when I got it. Hope to learn a lot more here and hopefully increase my knowledge further.

Greetings from NM in the the desert southwest!
Great collection you have there! The Rasheed is about as close as you can get to an SKS w/o being one as even the bayonets (though not all bayo collars) are swappable. I like your M59 right in the middle, love those gray rough bayonets on them. Also good that you got the Alby relatively early on too, prices for those are getting to be ridiculous nowadays! silly1

yeah, the Yugo has some nice carvings on it, on both sides it has the date "11-3-95", along with the "Cigo" on the right side of the stock, which I've been told is an endearing version of "Gypsy" in serbian. On the flip side has 2 names, "Rada" and "Daca". It also has a slightly modified hand grip as well.
Welcome and nice heap o iron. PAX
