Hey everyone, I picked up 2 M44 carbines and two M38”s carbines today. I’m not sure about this M44 with the AL prefix. Is it possibly Albanian? It’s all matching with a shiny bore. My buddy says it may be Romanian? I paid $450 for each carbine. Thanks

If my memory serves the triangle with the pointer arrow in it indicates Romanian manufacture. thumb1

Are they very common?
Romanian. thumb1 They arent as common as the Russian M44, and were only made 3 years, '53 to '55. '53 variants are hard to come by.
'54 and '55 M44s on the end. They're all Romanian. :)
