Post by: 100Acre on October 06, 2024, 06:34:28 PM
It looks like another Izzy with a shiny bore. Mostly matching but i think force matched. No import marks. I hope i did ok at $450?

450 is a fair value for these, I think. Are you sure there are no import marks? VSH transliteration seems to be a sure CAI doing. Did you check on the barrel?

Translated Cyrillic to English+number is one of the many pre-billboard CAI import marks. I have 2 M91/30s done this way.

In this market you did good. Its one of the more rarer versions of Nagants and its my favorite. I posted mine today. When I bought mine during the pentacle of C&R buying prices, I think I paid $250 and at that time there was not a heck of a lot of them for sale either around 2005. Mines a 1943 Izzy as well.

Actually scored two more 9130s today both for $450 including a spam can of silver chip. One is a 1932 hex Tula and the other one is an Izzy 1942 round receiver.
