Here is one I just picked up but I don't recognize the manufacturers mark and was wondering if anyone here could give me an idea about when and where it was made. I cleaned off enough of the cozmoline to get some clean pictures, Thanks in advance.

Made in the 8th month of the 18th year of production -- August 1973-- at arsenal /0406\

Nice catch.

Thank you for the quick response - it looks just as it arrived here in the states back in the day, I have a lot of the cozmo goop to clean but it's in really nice condition and all matching numbers. ;)

Nice looking carbine. /?5\ arsenal guns typically have excellent fit and finish and this one is no exception.
