We'll see. That was the only tank in attendance - a lone T-34/85. There were no flybys either.
I keep reading that old T-62s were pulled out and are used as mobile artillery. I'm sure they still have plenty of old base model T-72s and T-54/55s in reserve too.
Perhaps more will be pulled out to serve as decoys to use up Ukraine's anti-tanks missiles.

Cool pics Cz! 8) What former SSR is that from?
That’s actually Mongolia. Apparently their SKS follow the Soviet pattern

They have to live up to Stalin.. and what scares RM... :) The only real power comes from a long rifle..
Laff GM. Yes I'm very afraid of that first Mosin Nagant... nailbite1
Bruce, there are many images of the Donetsk & Lugansk separatists using the SKS (and Mosins and PTRS-41s & Degtyaryov machine guns) from 2014 until 2022. The regular Russian and Ukrainian forces of course typically use their standard issue AKs (or in the case of Ukraine, whatever flavor of western weapon has been delivered to them) but the DPR & LPR forces had to use whatever they could scrounge up.
Thanks RM.
