Okay guys, just for a little diversion, and besides the obvious 'it's been de-milled'...What's wrong with this picture?

I'm not seeing anything jump out at me GG. hunter)
It's missing the magazine, but I doubt that's it.
I'll give it a bit to see if others chime in, but there is one thing I noticed.
Laugh, hopefully someone gets it soon!!
Now that I know there is definitely something I'm missing I'm very curious to know what it is!

And I'll admit, as my disclaimer, that I could be wrong. But it will be new to me on this point if I am wrong, LOL. (Now I really have you wondering don't I)
The twist on muzzle break? Or perhaps, the redder than normal leather strap on the sling?
Thems my 2 guesses at least.
Wrong sling, no lightening cuts on carrier, pinned barrel with blade bayo? PAX

Ding, ding, ding, ding...Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!! rofl rofl
When have you ever seen a blade bayonet on a pinned barrel Chinese SKS, and it's a blade cutout on the stock so I imagine it is for a threaded barrel and not original.
The sling is funky too, but the bayo and barrel thing is what I was looking at. :)
Thanks for playing "What's my SKS"

I have blade 2 Paratroopers with pinned barrels. My presumption is they were ordered that way when you had options for either blade or spike from certain importers. Both are BTC SELMA, one was NIB the other one not shot or shot very little. Picked them up about 2 years apart 8 (?) years ago. PAX
That sling certainly looks Russian to me. The mismatched color of the stock and handguard probably mean it's a replacement. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if the whole gun is a Frankenstein's monster with a hodgepodge of parts. Aside from being able to see the arsenal & S/N and comparing it with known examples, seeing if the stock ferrule has a U vs V notch for the bayo would be the real indicator as to what this rifle originally was dressed with. thumb1
The receiver is (Chopped) off! rofl
