Picked up a Norinco a few months back that had been compromised by Bubba with a plastic stock and a duck bill magazine. The blueing was in great shape and I figured it would make a great range beater .
I decided to make an attempt to restore it so I picked up a nice stock and correct box mag off the internet and flipped the bayo over to its correct position :
I can’t ever get my money back on this project but I can live with the results :)

Got a couple on the way thumb1
Definitely a great save there!
I don't know which bothers me worse, the plastic stock itself, or the fact that the bayonet doesn't fit within the plastic stock (because there is no bayo groove) and just kind of hangs there in no man's land, closed but not really closed. chuckles1
Did you get rid of that awful plastic stock yet? Asking for a friend.
