refresh , we were doing some purging of clutter on the property and house and some how a G kit ended up at the dump , i thought it was the whole kit , but while digging for some other unrelated parts i unearthed half the kit some half a year later or more , and revived it by replacing the missing parts , furniture , bolt and carrier and a few small parts ,and had a fella build it for me , ive run about 200 rounds through it without a single issue , the only thing i did was redo the furniture , the gunsmith in Baltimore did the build

I like the rack numbered stocks.
i did it first in white and it didnt look right , so i stripped a layer , redid the finish , and redid the number in ivory , it was perfect , not so jump out atcha

Duffys Gun Room , its in B-more county , not the city , in Sparks Glenco , he came highly recommended by the fella i originally wanted to do the build , but he had injured his shoulder in a auto accident and could not work the press , said he had a years worth of Physical Therapy ahead of him so he recommended this guy , bit of a drive for me but well worth it , he even refinished the cleaning rod to match the rifles finish , attention to detail

That's an excellent call.
I expect a rack number would have been done in white originally, but the ivory makes it look like it's been there a while.
I remember reading the original post about this rifle. Glad you were able to get it squared away and by the looks of it you have a very nice Romey on your hands!
thanks BMont
yea Larry , that was the think'n , the white just looked too fresh
