Why isn't there much like or dislike of the m70 abm
I think the M70 AKM or it's semiauto variants in the USA are well liked by many/most. It used to be in the same "good budget AK" category and price point as the WASR-10 with preferences seemingly splitting into two camps. I have a 2015 WASR-10 that I like a lot, bit I wish I would have also picked up an O-PAP when they were $550-600. I guess I belong in the give me both camp rofl
I know an ex-army foreign arms trainer from who served in the 1980s that thinks the Yugoslavian AKMs were the best built, perhaps because of the RPK spec 1.5mm receivers. I'll have to ask for more details the next time I talk to her.
traded an sks for abm ,i guess this is the milled u.s. version? have a new wasr 10 box says 2012 but is that its year of manfc. or export/import ? i hear good and bad on them ,that russian on youtube likes them.

Ah, okay, I'm behind on the latest AKs. I didn't know their was a new "ABM" version. It's actually a
milled receiver? I was talking about the old Yugoslavian AKMs.
Regarding the WASR-10 manufacture year, it should be the last two digits in the serial number, mine is "-15", 2015.
yes the abm is milled and very heavy.i never hear or see any reviews good or bad saving like two videos..the wasr 10 s/n ends in 66 but has a 1976 stamped too ..its romanian with the triangle and arrow
sounds like you have a Romanian wasr 10/63 Sksarego.
yea, didnt realize much about it,basically a military rifle came in around the busch ban crap but all military.not all came with cugir triangle/arrow mark or other either it seems..just watched a video from mishaco ,very informative
