Looks like an early '59 letter gun to me, but I must say I haven't seen that C letter before either. Also looks to be a replacement stock with a poor quality blade bayonet cut in it.

I didn't know that this was considered the "C" in the Chinese alphabet. It's the first time I've seen one outside the Guide.

I don't think it's a "C" it looks like it has a "tail", if you will.
Its a C letter gun*. One of the earlier (CJA) imports directly from China that was refurbished with a replacement stock (period incorrect bottom swivel).
