Here goes. Picked up this BBQ refurb special in trade for 250rds of .223 Ultramax reloads.
It was missing the butt swivel, the buttplate trap door AND the bayonet. Dug around my Russki parts box and took care of the swivel and trap door. BUT, I can't find a bayonet collar that works (no sag) with my spare blades. The bayonet lug looks to be Chinese (?).
Any clues on sourcing the correct collar, or complete blade and collar would be appreciated. The last two pics: A slanted collar on my ghost "333" (Russian Database post) & blades that a couple are probably Chinese.

looks like you have an early style straight angle bayonet lug on your 1952, so you need a straight angle bayonet collar to match. Chinese won't fit, because all of them are like late Russian style.
Yep, what PK said, early '52 with straight lug. You'll probably just need to keep an eye on any/all bayonets and/or parts on GB and Ebay to see if a straight collar shows up. Unless somebody here has one and chimes in for you.
This bayo lug was a transitional part in 1952. The early '52 lugs were solid with straight ears. The late lugs look like the one in this thread with the straight ears and lightening cuts. I have not found an angled ear bayo lug with lightening cuts in '52. I thought I had one in the database, but looking back at the photo it's clear that it's a straight eared lug and sister guns with the same prefix all have straight eared lugs so it appears I made a mistake.
Why two lugs in the same year, who knows? But as we've seen from the 50's transitionals, they can make many changes to the same component over the course of a single year of production.
At any rate, keep looking on eBay Matchka, they turn up from time to time. They are less common than angled collars, but they are not necessarily 'rare'.

Obtw, the "3" stamped on the carrier and the magazine; is this an arsenal refurb QA/QC thing, or a 'from the factory' stamp?
Never seen marks like that on a Russian though I've honestly never looked either. Albanians have matching numbers on various parts sometimes. I always assumed on those it was a mark to keep various parts together or maybe to identify a particular fit (loose vs tight) but honestly I have no hard data for any of that... dntknw1
