I latched onto 800 rnds of old Tula Cartridge works 122gr HP ammo yesterday. It's in the white box that says made for hunting on it. For a minute I thought maybe I had latched onto some 8M3, but I think it has to have a 97 or 98 headstamp for that doesn't it?
From what I can find, it is from factory 187, the second Tula factory, and the headstamp is the military designation from that time, TPZ, as opposed to the TCW commercial designation. This is supposed to be the plant where Tulammo is currently being made.
Does anyone else have experience with this ammo to have noticed the headstamp designation variance? Also, whether it may have the same 8m3 projectile in it?

Nice! thumb1 Too bad there isn't a bounty on them anymore.
No,but there is no closed season and no bag limit on them and they can be taken at night. They are very brazen. This one was a female so it won't be breeding anymore.
