Title: Mad Maxx and the Khyber Pass Boys
Post by: echo1 on March 30, 2020, 06:58:52 PM
Hi Guys,

I've built a home grown Para quite some time ago. Numbers all match, in the white mostly. It came to me cut, and this is what I did with it. After facing the muzzle & adding an 11* target crown and a short TriDelta 14X1 LH brake, I put on a Prince 50 front sight, and a Williams Fire sight (with the aperture removed, they're like ghost rings, very fast acquisition). It works perfect for my poor vision in my good eye. I've had it in Tapco T6, Choate Drag, and in Butler Creek/K-Sport furniture. Currently as pictured with black web sling. PAX

You know me, I'm a purist. But I get when you pick up an already Bubba'd SKS that you may as well make it functional. That's really a very cool looking workhorse of a gun. The ventilated handguard, muzzle brake etc. really looks good!  thumb1

I was kinda thinking along those same lines.

It would be a really handy truck gun.

Thanks fellas,

Me too, but I never pass on a mix master or Bubba if the price is right. I've had it in a bunch of different furniture, but it seems to fit in this  camo job I had in my heap. PAX

That doesn't look half bad with a semi cage brake.  Wonder what it would look like with the AR style cage.  Just don't leave it leaning beside a tree ;).

Walt,

That camo stock was from another salvage project. For some reason, I was on a run of camo saves a while back. This one had a non-hardening putty in the duel cut bayo slot, blade cut to para spiker. PAX
