The $500 covers this SKS, 1000rds of ammo, and delivery.

Considering that looks to be a Sporter, otherwise known as an SKS-M (magazine capable), that's about the going rate, so you didn't do badly. Looks like it came with at least one Chinese mag (rounded back rib) which go for more than the Com Bloc mags, you seem to have fared well. Cheers, Bruce.
A thousand rounds of ammo (delivered) is nothing to sneeze at.
With prices the way they are recently, I'd say you did alright.
19cents a round for 7.62x39, so that alone ($200). thumb1
And I've been waiting on a 16in barrel SKS for a while now.
I missed the 1000 rounds part, so you did incredibly well. Cheers, Bruce.
You did good. 86 that folder and you're GTG. PAX
I agree on that stock, if you can't find one on ebay or GB, Lucky Shot Wood Stocks on Etsy can make one for you:

Got one on order now for my Sporter that came with that folding stock.

Actually I'm going to see how that stock feels first.
I'm looking to buy one of those folders from another member here.
Got my eye on a chopped up, half beat to death Chicom SKS for a host.

I have one on my "ghost" mix master numbered sks and I like it! Just saying! ;)
Whoever wants the muzzle brake can have it, just pay shipping.

I believe Echo1 called it.
I'll go seconds if he doesn't want it.
Yes, I know.
Yeah,
Just saw it in the other thread.
I thought I had a stroke or something......

Chances are that I will probably just ship it to you on payday. It's called paying it forward to the community.

If you don't really need the ducats, I wouldn't get rid of the ammo. That's not a lot for an SKS, but I'm an ammo whore. ::) PAX
The ~320 rounds in the bag looks to be brass cased Yugo M67. Much more highly sought after then the WMC in the boxes as it is no longer reliably available at retail. If you do keep it and shoot it, know that a good cleaning is in order afterwards as the primers are corrosive.
This haul keeps getting better and better. thumb1
I agree with Pax.
Don't get rid of ammo if you don't have to. Might be just a few months until it'll be too hard to find.
That being said, I'd be interested in the M67 if you're dead set on selling some.
Unfortunately I have to sell the ammo. I don't plan on firing corrosive ammo through my rifle.

You're doing yourself an injustice not running that M67. It's some of the best there is. Corrosive is no big deal, and depending on when it was produced, most all Berdan primed ammo is corrosive. PAX

Would suggest you put a for sale ad up in the Miscellaneous For Sale (https://sks-files.com/index.php?board=44.0) section.
Know that shipping ammo for a private party is not easy or necessarily cheap. 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 in a 8x8x6 box is likely to run you $40-$50 in just shipping via FedEx/UPS when the proper "Cartridges, small arms ORM-D" / limited quantity option is selected. They are not allowed to have you drop off the box at a location, both their rules require you to schedule a specific pickup, so that adds a bit to the cost as well. Your best bet may be a local face to face sale.
Good luck! thumb1

Was going to throw the whole lot up on Armslist for $175 OBO depending on actual number of rounds.
Someone local to you should jump on it for that price. PAX
If I was local.. I'd be on it like white on rice.. corrosive stuff thumb1 thumb1. I've told people..no don't shoot it, it will rot your barrel off and lock your gas system up, I'm certified in dealing with corrosive materials, have the Hazmat license and all..just sell it to me. rofl rofl2 So none of it's totally a lie... enough time, years and years it will, and I do have a Hazmat CDL thumb1 rofl2
