My CZ82 that I purchased a few months ago. The finish is not pretty but it is reliable and dependable in its function.

I may pick one of these up one day. They seem to have a good rep. Whats your report on it?
Oh me.... Czech goodness, I have a real weakness for Czech stuff... drool2 thumb1
I love'em... I ended up with 3.. great shooting pistol
Had an 83 and I absolutely loved it.
Apparently, so did the bastard that broke into my house.

I like it! Holds more rounds (12) compaired to a Makarov that holds only 8. Got mine in the condition it is in from jgsales for around $200 before shipping. Picked up some spare mags for it from aimsurplus. The CZ82 is chambered in 9x18makarov and the CZ83 is chambered in .380 just for your info.
Everyone needs a CZ82 IMO, here's the one I finally landed after missing the boat on the early imports 3 or 4 times in a row. thumb1

Here you go! Same place I got mine from and it was in better appearance than what they showed on their site. I am in no way affliated with or promoting their site what so ever.

Thanks, but I have been a bad boy lately. I'm going to have to let the wallet cool off. Eventually....

I hear you. My wallet stays mostly cold with no funds in it to make a purchase when the chance comes. :(
let me ask my honey if I can get one. NOT!!!!! i'm no fool. better to ask for forgiveness. :)
Nice! The pristine ones are uncommon. Just the nature of painted Parkerized pistols. I picked mine up locally a couple years back. I like the grip feel of a double-stack with my long fingers.
The price at J&G is definitely a good one in today’s market. I’ve seen these going for closer to $300 at auctions. C&R too.

Along with 9mm Mak and .380, there is also a Cz83 chambered in .32acp.. they are not as commonly found, but they do exist thumb1 And there was a hicap Makarov PMM 9x18mm, both Russian and China made that holds either 10 or 12 rounds.

Forgot about those Sir, thanks for the reminder! thumb1
I should have said, I "now" have 2. She got one....so technically... that one is gone. doh1
But, I do still have these, both came from Aim Surplus back in '08-'09, I got them a year apart, and the serials are 54 off from each other.

Those are high condition. Nice pair :o
Now there's a pair to draw to.......
I really like my CZ-82's and my CZ-83. I bought (2) CZ-82's in 9x18 Makarov and (1) CZ-83 in .32acp. I've fired one of the CZ-82's, but haven't fired the CZ-83 yet. I'm hoping it feeds as good as it looks. thumb1 The magazines ARE different for the .32acp. They will insert and lock into either pistol, but of course, they won't work correctly. Not sure why CZ left it like that. I guess they figured not many end users would have various calibers of the same pistol? Hmmm...
Do the CZ-83 .380 and the CZ-82 9x18 Makarov use the same mag? I'd think they would, but I don't have the .380 model. So, not sure.
I would like to pick up a couple of those leather extra magazine carriers like the one in the OP's first pic. Looks handy.

The CZ 82 I bought came with 1 mag pouch as shown in the pics. I bought spare mags from aimsurplus and each mag came with a pouch. I just checked on the aimsurplus site and the mags with pouches are sold out. You may be able to find just the pouches on ebay or gunbroker but I am not sure.
The .380 and 9x18mm can share the same mag far as I know.
These are so very close...look like carbon copies to the Czech mag pouch.. Liberty Tree says they are Croatian, but I wonder.... think1
