Title: Remington/Tapco and why they are going out of business.
Post by: 1mlt on February 08, 2019, 01:10:18 PM
I just called to place a mag order. They did not find my Company in their files. I've been a distributor for 5-6 years I guess. No big deal right? Just set it up again. AH BUT WAIT. They will not setup any "new" accounts unless you have an FFL. I don't need an FFL to buy mags, stocks, accessories, clothing, bullets, reloading tools, etc. How long is the list? No wonder their "business model" is in danger of failing. Very disappointing, not professional at all. Rant over.

  Edit:
Well, the "magazine gods" have smiled. Remington/Tapco just called me back. He did some "hunting" and found my account. Very apologetic about the misunderstanding. My account was "set up differently" back when, because, I did not have an FFL. I'm guessing that was so I could NOT order firearms, but, could order anything else. So, mags are on order. And my price went down a little from the last order. That is always a good thing.
