Ok folks, the 1 gunshow of the year withing an easy drive was today and on a whim i picked this up, dont really know why other than the 3 characters mean something. Havent been paying much attention to gun related things lately.
Everything that can take a photo needs recharging so heres the important one for now.

Nice man, one of the /546\ guns that have been popping up all over Canada. Year 13 gun with a nice low S/N. thumb1

Does it have the circle star cartouche on the right side of the stock like:

It does actually RM.

Thanks everyone, like i said it was spur of the moment as it was the cheapest and nicest of the chinese i had seen and i was 3/4 of the way through the tables already. $400 91/30s were not for me :o
Oh and i forgot that they all have the 3 characters on the side :))

The three characters mean “Type 56”. The Chinese read and write right-to-left, but numbers are always written left to right in any language I’m aware of (mathematics follows universal rules, unlike languages). Therefore, from left-to-right, the characters are: 5 6 Type.
