Dropped by the LGS last night and couldn't pass this one up for the price. Scrubbed serial numbers except for the receiver, of course, and the mismatched bolt. Despite the mismatch, I was enticed by it being a 1958 long lug, milled trigger group, with lightening cuts intact (and a bit below market value). It was missing the bayonet but I had one spare para bayonet.

Hey....big guy, thats a commercial. :o I want that one too... thumb1
That don't fit P32s style, send that badboy to Appalachia pronto, we wouldn't wanna offend a hot looking Iraqi Enfield with an offensive piece of Chinese commercial mismatched goodness....... it would look simply dashing between a certain Type 84 and a SKSNR........albit a little less endowed with a stumpy 10rd magazine. rofl
Lord, please forgive me.....it's been 6 days since my last fix.. rofl2
I'm not sure I approve of the new back drop...where's the fence? Nice find anyway.

rofl Yes, commercial are typically not my thing, but the short barrel SKS, I just have to try it out. When I get tired of it it'll be in the mail...oops, except I don't know your FFL. Maybe the next one thumb1

Thanks Brian.
:)) Yeah, not to worry, the fence is still there. Usually the backdrop cloth helps with focusing on the firearm, but the lighting was so poor today in the early morning fog that it wasn't that sharp anyhow.
I can get a FFL to you.....in a hot minute. thumb1 You tired of it yet.. think1
Needs a cleaning rod.........and a few flowers and a maybe touch of mulch in the shot and I think you would have nailed it, I kinda like the flowers. Jimmy finds them soothing, "Just look at the flowers, Lizzie....." :o chuckles1

Flowers are fading. It would look good held by a panda in a bamboo tree too, but I don't have one rofl
Yeah, I don't have a short cleaning rod in the bin/box/drawer/crate/closet/bucket...not in a really big hurry to get one....but does anyone know the length? Just 10 cm shorter I assume?
nice find, looks great! got to go shopping with you. thumb1
That looks like a beaut! Who's the importer? Is it KSI?

So you can shoot that one a lot, and not feel guilty. Or you can feel guilty a lot, and not shoot that one.
It's really up to you.

rofl Yeah, no guilt, it’s in good refurbished condition but it has a couple of scratches, so definitely not a safe queen. I do need to pop the trigger group out for a good cleaning and inspection...a bit gritty, even for an SKS.
I'm going to float a theory out there that the new pink backdrop is P32's official standard gunbroker picture backdrop to start selling off his collection. (The pink blanket might get as much notoriety as grey carpet guy!!) :o :o :o
This poor commercial paratrooper is the first one to get the heave ho! cry1
P.S. Oh yeah, nice little carbine Jon. You may have reached the point where you need professional help BTW....

I thought it might be a KSI. KSI did the nicest reburbs on their commercial imports. Most of the times, the rifles literally look brand new.

Just kidding...............I'm on the road to the gun shop :o rofl2

:)) Thanks DC! Not in Scarface but the SKS, in general, was used in a few other movies.
